THE OPEN July beans:  2 lower        July meal:  steady July soyoil:  16 lower July corn:  1/4 lower July wheat:  2 lower The markets opened as called with unwinding of previous buy soy/sell grain trade.  Corn prices saw a short-covering rally as bean prices remained under pressure.  Funds continue to build a net short in corn, but oversold extremes prompted a few to take off positions. WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment.
