Delhi Microcosm of Doha The U.S. has now twice cancelled intended bilateral meetings with India on the reported basis that New Delhi was unlikely to grant any new market opening as part of the U.S.-India Trade Policy Forum. India replies that it is not receiving much from the U.S. as well. But there are ample critics within India who are equally frustrated with their country's politics, which involves hyper-pandering with protection of the status quo. Delhi makes Brussels and Washington both look decisive and reform-oriented.
