The American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) last Friday held its convention in Omaha, Nebraska. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack spoke to ACE members shortly after the WASDE was released. Of course, the potential for a Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) waiver was a hot topic at the conference.According to ACE, the general reason why a waiver is not warranted is that the RFS has a marginal impact on increasing feed prices that is more than offset by the significant impact the RFS has in moderating gasoline prices.
