Southeast Europe Regional Analysis

Regional News Southern Germany and parts of France and Italy will receive favorable precipitation this week, as will Bulgaria and Romania. The latter countries will benefit greatly from the rainfall as it will offer a reprieve from mild drought conditions. The 10-14-day forecast offers heavier rains for the UK, France, and Germany but only modest amounts for Southeast Europe. Favorable snowfall is expected across southern Russia this week that will aid the winter wheat crop. The 10-14-day forecast remains dry for Ukraine and Russia.
