Over the past decade, the soybean crush in the top ten countries has increased by nearly 37 percent. Over that same period, soymeal exports amongst the top ten countries grew at around 18 percent. This indicates that a significant share of the growth in crush is directed at the domestic market. Although Egypt and Mexico are amongst the world’s top ten soybean crushing countries, the resulting soymeal tends to be more directed toward the domestic market.
