Squeeze on Hamburger

The current small herd  means pressures on producers for herd expansion, which means less culling and a lower cow slaughter. This has the potential to change the dynamics for cow plants and beef grind as well as, ultimately, the hamburger supply. Squeeze on Hamburger Earlier this year, a Rabobank report caught the attention of many in the cattle business by reporting that the U.S. had become a hamburger nation. Weighing in on strategic realignment

WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment.
