It is mid-July which is usually the beginning of the "dog days of summer" in the U.S. The July WASDE has come and gone with the expected lack of major surprises. The current "dog days" heat wave affecting the Eastern U.S. is getting much press attention primarily, we suppose, because so much of the national press is located in this region and is sweating it out along with the rest of us.
