It’s difficult to write about wheat when we are still reading the world is “awash” in it, and weekly U.S. export sales continue to be rather paltry at best. There has been a great deal of wheat news lately, although much of it doesn’t receive much analytical coverage. Following are some of the issues that should lead to a period of much stronger U.S. wheat export sales throughout the winter months: Brazil has a mess on its hands with its wheat crop. The rains will not stop. Quantity and, more importantly, quality are disappearing quickly.
