Newly installed Argentine President Javier Milei told elites in Davos last week that they need to rally around capitalism because socialism has never improved the lives of people. His speech was welcomed by some in the audience but not by all back in Argentina. He now faces large protests in Argentina by those that think they’ve benefited from Peronist socialism.
