WASDE and Exports USDA’s November WASDE report of today projects slightly lower beef and pork production but slightly higher broiler production versus last month’s estimates. The beef forecast is reduced 0.5 percent based on expected slower fed cattle marketing and lighter carcass weights in the coming quarter, and per capita domestic consumption is projected to be down three-tenths of a pound. The pork forecast is lowered 0.33 percent based on a slightly slower slaughter rate, but there is no change in estimated domestic demand.
