USDA’s projection for U.S. corn is for increases to both beginning and ending stocks: U.S. exports are lowered 50 million bushels and ending stocks are raised 35 million bushels to 2,257 - this is well above the 2022/23 ending stocks of 1,452 million bushel. The season-average farm price for 2023/24 is projected to be $4.80 per bushel, which is below the 2022/23 weighted average farm price of $6.60 per bushel.
