U.S. ethanol exports rose 16 percent over the past two years and are up 30 percent for the first two months of this year on a year-on-year basis. Value has declined over that same period, reflecting the drop in petroleum prices. Canada is the largest market for U.S. ethanol, taking 44 percent of all exports, and is the fastest growing single market. The second largest market and growing is the United Kingdom.
