U.S. President Biden and Chinese President Xi will meet in San Francisco on Wednesday to discuss key geopolitical issues and “managed trade.” The geopolitical discussion will focus on the latest developments with North Korea, and, additionally, issues that have potential impacts on commodity trade, such as the war in Ukraine and China’s relationship with its “friend without limits” Russia, as well as China’s relationship with Iran.
