The active Paris milling wheat futures contract is nearing all-time highs set in 2007 with the March 2022 contract rising €4.50/MT to start the week. UK feed wheat futures posted a new contract high on Monday and are within a few pounds sterling of their 2012 all-time highs. Rising European and UK wheat prices are eroding the regions’ competitiveness on the export market, though the larger EU crop will push exports above last year’s levels.
