The Food and Agricultural Policy Institute (FAPRI) is a well-known and widely followed agricultural research organization formed jointly by the University of Missouri and Iowa State University. It was established in 1984 by a grant from Congress with the purpose to compile economic projections of U.S. and international agriculture and agricultural policies. FAPRI uses "comprehensive computer modeling systems to analyze complex economic interrelationships of the food and agriculture industry."
