Fraud versus Whistleblowers The Iowa legislature passed a bill that would make it high misdemeanor to gain access to an agricultural production facility, like a slaughter house or feeding operation, under false pretenses in order to expose operations for animal cruelty. The bill passed the Senate 40-10 and then the House by 68-26. The governor is expected to sign the bill.
