Corn Argentina Finally, Argentina’s corn harvest had a week with strong progress. Farmers harvested 10 percent of the fields, bringing total harvest progress to 72 percent. Good weather has helped lower grain moisture levels and many farmers decided its time to accelerate the harvest, despite kernel moisture levels still above commercial standards. Some farmers will still have to take discounted prices for high-moisture grain, but discounts will be far less now.   Yields are still exceeding expectations and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange forecasts the crop at 48 MMT while Rosario Stock Exchange’s estimate is 51 MMT.
