Exports are lowered 125 million bushels reflecting smaller supplies and slow early-season demand. U.S. corn ending stocks for 2022/23 are cut 47 million bushels. The season-average corn price received by producers is raised 5 cents to $6.80 per bushel. The estimate for global corn stocks are down 3.3 million metric tons, to 301.2 million tons. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
