USDA’s array of January reports will be released on 12 January. They will include: the last estimates of the average yields and production for the 2017 U.S. corn and soybean crops from NASS; the January WASDE with updated U.S. and world supply/demand estimates; the quarterly stocks reports as of 1 December; and the estimated U.S. winter wheat planted acreage for the 2018/19 wheat year. Each of these significant reports will have its own story to tell, but combined they represent the single biggest “data dump” of the year from USDA.
