At this writing the results of Tuesday’s U.S. election are still uncertain. Joe Biden holds an electoral vote lead over President Donald Trump, but that could change depending on results from Pennsylvania and other states. The final count of the massive volume of mailed ballots in several states may not be finalized until late this week, if then. And legal challenges to the mail-in count are expected so the final results may not be decided for weeks, sad to say. Interestingly, the Republicans have a net pickup of five seats in the House of Representatives. On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
