Agriculture on Agenda? U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will lead the U.S. delegation at a U.S.-Mexico Dialogue on 9 September. The reported agenda will address “strategic economic and trade priorities, including supply chain issues, emergency coordination mechanisms, border infrastructure and cooperation on development in Southern Mexico and Central America.” Although agriculture could be a trade priority and a supply chain issue, there is no indication that the growing list of irritants to American agricultural exporters being created by Mexico will be included.
