GOOD MORNING, Prices are lower after a disappointing USDA Feb. report that did not deliver the bullish information as expected given fund length. As is typical after a USDA report, traders and market analysts will have to digest the numbers. However, at this point and with harvest still ahead in South America, it likely would take a further weather problem to see prices return to established contract highs. Another major factor in holding current lows is if China comes in and views the sell-off as a good point to purchase. The March report will likely confirm whether prices have peaked or not. On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
