GOOD MORNING, The markets are firmer this morning with more optimistic viewpoints as to trade negotiations combined with the impact of the storm crossing the US. The USDA report was friendly for beans, and funds are probably getting long. Funds added to corn short positions, and this morning's strength indicates some are re-thinking their position. The market is now drawing strength from the chatter that the President will meet with China's chief negotiator today, which has the stock market higher on speculation that a deal could be closer at hand. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
