GOOD MORNING, Today's price action is lower as beneficial rainfall blanketed the drier portions of Iowa over the weekend. In the west, moderate to locally heavy showers and storms crossed over the last 48 hours, while current shower systems are crossing Missouri and central Illinois. Soyoil prices are lower, tagging along with November palm oil futures, which were off 1.6 percent. The soy complex is tagging along with the Chinese Dalian Exchange values, where vegoil, bean, and corn futures ended the session lower. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
