There was an announcement over the weekend regarding Argentina's agricultural product export taxes as well as new information out of India about the status of winter crop plantings there.The new government of Argentina will officially take control on 10 December. There has been speculation since the upset victory by Mauricio Macri that he would change Argentina’s export tax schemes on grain and oilseeds. Indeed, that occurred over this past weekend with the announcement that the existing 23 percent export tax on wheat and 20 percent export tax on corn will be removed the day Macri assumes office.
