Russian Grain Markets: 12-16 August 2019 Domestic prices in the European part of Russia mainly increased, partially because of the limited offer that resulted from many producers trying to determine what offer price to quote amid active demand from exporters and domestic animal feed producers. Meanwhile, those prices dropped in regions of the Asian part of Russia that were switching to 2019 production. The average export price for wheat (12.5 percent protein) fell to $194/MT FOB Black Sea, but the purchase prices grew to RUB 11,500-11,600/MT CPT-port Black Sea.
