Planting Update According to the Ministry of Agriculture, on 22 March the spring planting campaign started in the southern regions of Ukraine. Spring grains were planted in Odesa region on 30,000 hectares out of 750,000 hectares planned. Farmers in Mykolayiv region continued to dress winter grains. They have 70 percent of the seeds needed for planting while Odesa farmers have 80 percent. Also, Odesa farmers have 62 percent of crop protective agents and 46 percent of fuel for planting.
