The Biden Administration and Congressional Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation package has $135 billion slated for the Agriculture Committees to spend via those panels’ reconciliation instructions. Reconciliation is a process where the usually non-binding federal budget resolution gets teeth by instructing authorizing committees to come up with enabling legislation.
