Building Hunger The Global Network Against Food Crises says global hunger rose for a fourth straight year, jumping by a third to about a quarter of a billion in 2022. Granted, the causes were the usual – conflict, economic crises, and trade disruptions. Plus, the UN says global food prices rose in April for the first time in a year.
