Nationally, the average price shed RMB .52/kg ($.03/lb.) or 2.3 percent last week to hold at just above RMB 22/kg ($1.48/lb.). That pushed down the average operating profit per live hog by RMB 67/head ($9.93/head) or 8.8 percent.
