Sinograin has been auctioning soybeans and it may also be releasing some of its reserves of corn into the market. Corn and wheat are being added to the market even as domestic stocks have been trending lower. China’s National Development and Reform Commission has targeted an overall 50 MMT increase in China’s grain production, focusing mostly on corn and soybeans. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
