By July, wheat supplies from all origins began their trek upward as the tightening global stocks situation became more apparent. U.S. wheat has been consistently higher priced, losing its competitiveness during the runup. Offers from Argentina have now taken the lead as the winter crop gets harvested, underbidding U.S. HRW by $60/MT. Black Sea wheat has been the most consistently competitive, followed by wheat from Russia.
