Endangered Species Act Reform  On 2 July, Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman John Barrasso (R-Wyoming) introduced the Endangered Species Act Amendments of 2018. The legislative package was based on the results of a bipartisan task force initiated by the Western Governors’ Association. That task force proposed putting more decision-making authority closer to the affected areas and species’ habitats.
