Regional News  Last week’s rainfall across western Europe was in-line with predictions and helped improve crop conditions in eastern Europe, though conditions in France stayed largely steady. The recent rainfall has boosted spring crop conditions in Romania and Bulgaria, and corn crop estimates in those countries are improving. Through 10 June, the NDVI map below shows crops in western and eastern Europe were in below-average condition. That trend is reversing, however, with meaningful precipitation for France, Germany, and parts of Eastern Europe pushing 30-day precipitation totals from a deficit to a surplus, relative to historic norms.
