Yesterday we wrote about the forthcoming relief funds for COVID-19; today’s press stories are laying out the same scenario based on reports of what is happening at USDA and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The expectation is that payments will be made within weeks of the announcement. Like we advised yesterday, the initial round will be $15.5 billion, with a second round in July or August, though it is unclear how things will be divided.
