What might make our predictions somewhat unique is that at the end of each year we go back and grade ourselves on how well or how poorly we did. Seldom have we noticed similar self-critiques from other forecasters.For several years, we have peered into our always foggy crystal ball at the beginning of each year in an effort to foresee what might happen during the upcoming 12 months. We have been bold enough, or perhaps better said foolish enough, to make a number of predictions about what may be ahead as we last did for the current year  in our 3 January 2013 report.
