House Agriculture Committee’s Organizational Meeting

New Chairman Mike Conaway (R-Texas) laid out his agenda for the committee and has reorganized a number of subcommittees to better suit his announced priorities.The House Agriculture Committee held its organizational meeting yesterday to set the stage for the 114th Congress. It adopted a few rule changes in terms of the background information that witnesses must submit before testifying. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
