The UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development are largely being written by NGO’s from rich countries, which is making some of the world’s poorest countries skeptical about their implications. Europe is pushing for UN sustainability goals that largely mimic its own Farm to Fork strategy with its 50 percent cut in nutrients and plant protection chemicals, land set-asides, and organic mandates.
