The Senate is moving forward on the bi-partisan infrastructure package; a cloture vote to limit debate and provide a timeline for a final vote and consider amendments was passed with all Democrats and 18 Republicans. A final vote will occur in the next 12 to 24 hours. That will move the bill to the House, but as we reported previously, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) has said she does not intend for the bill to come before the House until the Senate passes a separate and final budget reconciliation. So, the infrastructure package will be put on ice for a while.
