The EU's already approved policy to allow member states to decide individually whether GM crops could be grown on their territory was viewed as a net positive, but now Brussels is apparently considering re-nationalizing the decision on whether to import such crops. Iran Nuclear and Food Iran reached a deal with the P5+1 (China, France, Russia, UK, U.S. and EU) that will limit the number of its nuclear centrifuges and in exchange lift some of the sanctions that have been imposed on the country. Certainly, it will facilitate Iran's ability to export oil, improve its economy and potentially increase imports of food.
