The EU's already approved policy to allow member states to decide individually whether GM crops could be grown on their territory was viewed as a net positive, but now Brussels is apparently considering re-nationalizing the decision on whether to import such crops. Iran Nuclear and Food Iran reached a deal with the P5+1 (China, France, Russia, UK, U.S. and EU) that will limit the number of its nuclear centrifuges and in exchange lift some of the sanctions that have been imposed on the country. Certainly, it will facilitate Iran's ability to export oil, improve its economy and potentially increase imports of food. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
