During overnight trade, corn futures prices were unchanged to slightly weaker in slow trade. During the day session, though, fund pressure and technical selling pushed old crop corn prices to close down 8 cents. General Comments It is St. Patrick's Day when everyone is Irish, and people are encouraged to wear green shirts, ties, sweaters, etc. as well as drink beer that has been artificially colored a disgusting shade of green. Grain markets, soy markets and markets for many other commodities did not get the message as their color of the day is red.
