The soybean market had another fairly volatile session today. There is still some concern about soybean planting progress because of the wet weather across the Corn Belt and delay in the winter wheat harvest that could prevent some double cropping of soybeans. General Comments Markets were steady to firm overnight but strengthened when today's session opened. Wheat and soybeans moved to double-digit gains by midmorning, while corn was a reluctant follower. The same factors pushed the wheat markets around today. The U.S. dollar was sharply lower, and weather forecasts for the dry pockets of world wheat production are still dry.
