Accelerated buying into the close brought soybean futures back to their highs for the day, which was mirrored by one of the other markets. General Comments Markets spent most of the day mixed until soybeans, corn and wheat all turned higher late in the day. Prices, led by soybeans, were up ahead of the noon (EST) release of USDA’s December WASDE. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
