Markets were steady to slightly higher overnight, but the wheat markets took off higher again this morning. KC and Chicago traded gains of 10-15 cents most of the day before closing up 10-12.75 cents. Meanwhile, Minneapolis was trading 15-20 cents higher and finished up 14-18.25 cents. Corn again followed wheat but closed with gains of only 3-4 cents. President Trump alluded to the potential for tariffs on another $500 billion of Chinese products in a CNBC interview, which kept a lid on the soybean market. Funds were buying corn and wheat while selling soybeans. Overall trading volume was light today. U.S. equity markets spent most of the day trading around unchanged.
