It was a very quiet Sunday night session across soybeans, wheat and corn. The markets finished with corn up 1 cent, beans steady, Chicago wheat 3 cents higher, KC up 4-5 cents and Minneapolis with gains of 10-11. That pretty well summed up today’s action with the exception of a few spurts higher in soybeans. Trading volume in the day session was again very light in the corn and soy complex but much better for wheat. There appears to be no movement or certainly nothing positive on the trade front. France said it won’t negotiate with the U.S. on trade unless it softens its tone, which doesn’t seem likely anytime soon.
