The CBOT firmed to start the week with new crop futures strengthening on a cooler, wetter planting outlook for the U.S. summer crops. Funds were again on the long side of the market after last week’s late-week gains and supported values on Monday. Concerns about planting delays pushed corn and, to a lesser extent, soybeans higher while more worries about the Black Sea export deal sent wheat sharply higher.
