The CBOT finished sharply higher on Monday, with dry weekend weather starting and supporting what turned into a day of technical buying. Funds were aggressively covering their net short positions in corn and wheat and were adding to their small soybean long. The markets opened at the high end of expectations, with gapping higher at the open, which quickly triggered buy-stops and kept the upward momentum going. Corn, wheat, and soybeans all tested and overcame technically important levels today, triggering buy-stops again each time.  The U.S. weather is a big concern for the CBOT.
