CBOT products were generally lower as the end of the month approaches and profits are taken off the table. Tomorrow is first notice day for October soymeal and soyoil futures. That created bear spreading from those contracts as traders rolled long positions out of the spot contracts. Wheat was firmer on talks of frost in Argentina and from expectations of smaller stocks in tomorrow’s Grain Stocks report. Corn was slightly lower as profit taking developed amid some mild commercial buying.  The outlook for agricultural futures is threatened by the size of managed money funds’ long position.
