Wheat New crop wheat continues to capture the attention of many farmers, traders, and analysts in Argentina. The drought is not ending and there are places in the country where more than two months have passed without meaningful rains, which is affecting the wheat crop. Initial estimates were for a planting of 6.7 million hectares (Mha) and the country has seeded 6.2 Mha so far with 10 percent of fields yet unplanted. Weighing in on strategic realignment

WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment.
