Wheat Argentina's wheat planting advanced another 5.7 percentage points over the past week, reaching 97.7 percent of the projected 6.5 million hectares despite persistent rainfall across the country's agricultural region. Planting is now complete in the western production areas and the Northern Core. The remaining hectares are concentrated mainly in southern Argentina, where delayed summer crop harvest and saturated field conditions continue to restrict machinery access. Domestic wheat prices followed the strength in international markets, with both old- and new-crop values posting solid gains during the week. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
